2) You are looking at my 1968 Corvette Roadster Convertible. This car had a total rebuild less than 5,000 miles ago and has not even seen a wet road since then. The engine is a 355 C.I Chevrolet small block (,030 over 350). It is a 4 bolt main block (1969 - 1972 vintage). Keith Black hypereutectic pistons, stock cast crankshaft turned down .010, stock 350 connecting rods, shotpeened, straightened and sized, Competition cams hydraulic lifters with a 350HP grind, matching valve springs in heads, Vortec cylinder heads (new), modified to accept new valve springs, moderate porting, perfect seal valve seals, work done by ERD Engineering, ARP main cap studs, Moroso windage tray, 7 quart oil pan with internal baffles, Moroso high volume oil pump with extended pick up tube/screen, push rods 5/16 one piece, Proform roller rocker arms, Edelbrock performer intake manifold, Street Predator carb, MSD Pro Billet distributor with tach drive with 6A control box, Moroso high volume water pump, true roller timing chain, new flex plate and bolts, added new Hooker side mount headers ceramic coated, Note: engine crank, rods, pistons, flexplate, harmonic balancer were all balanced and blue printed by hatch motor rebuilders in Amsville Oregon. The transmission is a Turbo 400 automatic which was rebuilt by Springfield transmission and has a stage 1 shift kit which uses Ford ATF. As for the suspension, all control arms were rebuilt and powder coated, all new tie rod ends and bushings, steering ram and control valve, the springs are touring type (one step heavier than stock), All new brakes, bearings rotors and stainless brake lines which uses silicone brake fluid (DOT 5), Steering box is also rebuilt and steering rag coupler replaced. Stock sway bar was replaced with 1 1/8 unit with new rubber bushings. All new control arms (not rebuilt) in the rear with new e-brakes, hardware, backing plates, bearings hubs and bushings. Added rear 3/4 sway bar with poly bushings. The interior has refurbished gauges, carpets, seat covers (vinyl), rear compartment doors, console pieces, door panels and seat belts. Has Memphis Belle amp and speakers in the rear. The vette rides on American racing wheels 17x8 with Kumho tires. This car really sticks to the road! The top is white vinyl. The windshield wiper/wiper door is not working but have several parts which should fix it. Paint is near flawless Nissan slate blue Gray. One crack in the paint in the middle of the hood where air cleaner nut struck hood. This is a true turn key car. Drive anywhere. Not a numbers matching but better than new as far as power, handling and dependability. This car turns heads wherever it goes! I have a box of receipts and also pictures of the actual build that will go along with the car. I don't want to part with her but I am buying a new house and need the cash $$$$. A ton of money went into this car. It can be picked up in Connecticut. I will assist with loading. This car will come with a Bill of Sale as Connecticut does not require a title for vehicles 20 years or older. If your state requires it, you can apply and I will assist in getting a duplicate title. I have sold many cars here and this has never been a problem. The reserve is way lower than what is into this car. 5,000 miles. $29,995. April 6, 2015. 1) Selling my dream car for the simple fact that I do not drive it enough. I bought the car 4 years ago, I put less than 4 thousand miles on the car in 4 years. It is a head turner. There is not a place that I go that someone stops and stares at the car. It is a driver, very clean, stock 350 motor, new radio, tires are perfect, its a must see. I apologize if I am missing something on here, never sold anything on Ebay before. 11,000 miles. $33,000. April 15, 2013. |
